Fellow Landowners,

As stated in our earlier report on conditions at the end of March, there has been little snow and as a result there is very little water in the ponds and in the forest. Temperatures have been in the high 70s already and the fire danger is going to be high. Our water situation is not looking good. Members of the committee opened the pipe allowing the spring to flow down the pipe toward Brush since 25 March. They were able to get to all three (3) lower reservoirs yesterday. Brush, Strawberry and Blue reservoirs are very low. This is the lowest water levels have been in years.
Please see the photos. Currently, it looks like we may not have water from the forest this year for any ponds down on the ranch. Per the approved committee spring start up schedule, the committee opened the head gate at Strawberry to move the small amount of available water from Strawberry to Brush. If you want to help/volunteer, please contact Mark Minteer.

Brush Reservoir Status
The water level is 4-6 inches above the headgate. Hardly enough to use for the ponds down on the ranch.

Strawberry Reservoir Status
The water level was maybe 8″ above the head gate, which was started down the pipe toward Brush, may not be adequate to get to Brush and then get water to the stock ponds on the south side.

Blue Reservoir Status
The water level was about 18″ below the head gate, so we’ll be getting nothing from there.
